Kingfisher sells Castorama Russia to Maxidom for 7.4 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Oct 1 (PRIME) -- The U.K.-based Kingfisher has completed the sale of Castorama hypermarkets in Russia to Maxidom for 7.4 billion rubles, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

“Kingfisher today announces that it has completed the sale of Castorama Russia to Maxidom, a leading home improvement company in Russia, for a total consideration of 7.4 billion rubles (around 73 million pounds),” the statement said.
